For several months I have been watching Florian’s “Doc” Kaps campaign, when he and his SUPERHEROES team rescued the format of the film that I loved the first photo shootting.
As I’ve written here, my first experience with FUJI FP-100 peel apart film was so exciting, and the way I work with this material really got me. But depressing it was that the production of this film ended years ago and the world supplies will not last for so long. Their price is still rising and you will not find a price below 47 euros on the Czech web and on ebay.
I was more pleased with the news that Doc and his team are working to save this great format.I’ve been watching the project all the time on SAVEPACK FILM and I was waiting for the Kick Start Campaign to start.
Why am I writing this whole here. Half of the kickstarter time is already behind us and we have to choose about 18% of the price.Who can, please Polaroid and pell apart from Type 100, support this project. It would be a pity to end it. I wish Florian that the energy he gave the project was not lost. And to us, fans of this way of shooting and making – this media – I wish we could order a new ONE INSTANT movie in a few months without the fear that the stock will come.
